Terms and Conditions

Onboard Learning grants you (the “student”) non-exclusive limited license to access our courses which may be included as part of products (the “products”) sold by vendors (the “vendor”) through our platform (https://myobl.com.au) in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (the “license”) issued by Onboard Learning PTY Ltd.

Ownership

You may not claim intellectual or exclusive ownership rights to any of our courses. All courses are property of Onboard Learning PTY Ltd. They are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied. We shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or losses that occur out of the use or inability to use our courses.

Site Content

All site content, including imagery and documentation that is published on myobl.com.au is the property of Onboard Learning PTY Ltd and other copyright holders. Any replicated site content must be authorized in advanced. Content from this site shall not be used or exploited for commercial or non-commercial purposes without the prior written consent of Onboard Learning PTY Ltd.

Refunds

For refund information please see the individual refund policy of the vendor from whom you purchased the product. All refund requests must be submitted to the vendor from whom you purchased the product, details of which can be found on your invoice.

By purchasing any products through myobl.com.au, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy and those of the associated vendor.

Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are issued by vendors for the purchased dollar value.

Gift vouchers may be associated with a particular product or service offered by a vendor. The dollar value of the gift voucher issued represents the price of that product or service at the time of purchase only.

In the event that a vendor increases their prices before a gift voucher has been redeemed you will be required to pay the difference by another means of payment.

In the event that a vendor reduces their prices  no refunds will be issued. Any remaining value can be used towards another purchase of that product or service.

In the event that a vendor ceases to operate Onboard Learning will not be responsible for the fulfillment or refund of any unused gift vouchers.

Support

Onboard Learning PTY Ltd. offers the platform (https://myobl.com.au) and the courses contained within the platform “as is” and with no implied meaning that they will function exactly as you would like or will be compatible with all operating environments. We do not support your device or individual operating environment.

Course support is offered by Onboard Learning PTY Ltd directly to vendors. Students are requested to contact their vendor directly for support in the first instance.

Updates and maintenance

From time to time Onboard Learning PTY Ltd and it’s associated service providers may carry out maintenance and updates affecting the platform and the courses. Onboard Learning PTY Ltd will endeavour to notify both vendors and students of maintenance and updates and their impact.

Transactional Emails

Onboard Learning PTY Ltd may on occasion send you email notifications related to your purchase. These transactional emails may include notification of course updates, changes to our terms and conditions and other transactional emails. By purchasing through myobl.com.au you agree to receive these transactional emails.

Accounts

Students cannot distribute, freely giveaway, or resell their course access account. The account is only transferable by contacting your vendor and requesting an official transfer of the account and associated course access to a new owner.

Onboard Learning PTY Ltd reserves the right, at any time, to modify, suspend or remove, temporarily or permanently, an individual student or vendor account with or without notice.

Warranty

Our courses are designed to run in a “standard operating environment”. We do not guarantee they will function with all devices, operating systems and web browsers.

The standard operating environment consists of: A modern desktop PC running a clean install of Microsoft Windows 10 and a clean install of Google Chrome web browser.

Privacy

Agreeing to the Terms and Conditions here includes agreeing to the Privacy Policy.

General

The preceding terms and conditions govern the provision of products and services through the myobl.com.au platform. In addition to these terms and conditions vendors may have their own terms and conditions governing the sale of their products including access to myobl.com.au and our courses.

Registration provides 365 days access to the online theory component of the course. Access will automatically expire after this period. Should you require extended access your vendor and/or Onboard Learning PTY Ltd may charge a re-activation fee. Please contact your vendor to discuss extended access.

Completion of the online theory course and the provided completion certificate does not constitute a licence.

From the date of completion of the online theory course you have 3 months to complete the practical training and assessment components. Failure to complete practical training and assessment within this timeframe will require the theory component to be completed again.

By placing an order through myobl.com.au you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree with these terms and conditions and any provided by the vendor relating to your purchase. Please notify us or the vendor prior to placing an order if you disagree with any of our terms and conditions.

We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions at anytime for any reason.
